Taleggio Cheese (100gr)

Taleggio is a square-shaped Italian cheese made using raw cow’s milk. This cheese is one of the Stracchino cheeses, namely a soft-textured, square-shaped cheese from the Lombardy region. The rind of this cheese is thin and reddish in color while the inside is white or straw yellow. Traditionally this cheese is ripened in caves that have deep gaps. These gaps produce natural air which causes mold to grow on Taleggio cheese. Taleggio cheese is one the oldest cheese from the Lombardy region and has been known since the 9th century.
