Layered with notes of dark cherry and strawberries balanced with a flavorful finish, Dark Horse Pinot Noir is light enough for fish and charcuterie yet complex enough for richer dishes like roasted chicken or pasta.
Winemaking Notes
Our winemaker, Beth Liston, selected the grapes for our Pinot Noir from premier vineyards throughout California. The grapes for our 2018 Pinot Noir were harvested at peak ripeness, allowing for easy extraction of rich, concentrated color and velvety tannins. The wine was aged post fermentation to add complexity and balance.
