Kilcoy Pastoral Company Premium 100 Day Grain-Fed Beef is produced in the picturesque town of Kilcoy at the base of the Conondale Range in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Region. Local beef producer, Damian Kennedy, established Kilcoy Pastoral Company in 1953.
The original plant was capable of processing 40 head of cattle per day to supply the local surrounding butchers. 12 years later his son, Ian Kennedy, took the reins as Managing Director. All the knowledge and experience pass down by his father combined to his innovative approach, business strategy and continual entrepreneurial pursuits allow Kilcoy Pastoral Company break through the next level by becoming Australia’s leader on premium 100 days grain fedd beef processor and exporter.
Kilcoy Pastoral Company has grown to be one of the five largest beef processors in the country, employing over 750 people and processing more than 800 premium grain-fed cattle a day. Community, environment and animal welfare along with proposing safe quality products for customers remain core concerns in every actions of the company.
