Cantine Balita is the first boutique winery in Bali, which focuses to produce high quality wines that meet international standard.
Cantine Balita started in 2012, combining Italian and Balinese arts of agriculture to develop the quality of the local grapes and pioneering the research of Italian varieties grown in Bali.
With the acquisition of a local vineyard in the beginning, we ensure to have 100% control of the entire viticulture. We are developing new techniques, specifically designed for tropical climates, in growing our Italian varieties as well as local grapes to obtain highest quality grapes in Bali. We start with the agronomic part, because we believe that high quality wine comes from high quality grapes.We also grow together with local community by forming partnership with local farmers.
We determine the process of growing grapes and harvest time for all of the vineyards. We use grapes with strictly-controlled brix, sugar level in grapes, to get the right alcohol content for our wines.
