Fournier pere et fils winery dates back through several generation of winemakers. in 1950, Paul Fournier takes on the family winegrowing business with only 2 hectares. Jacques handles the vineyard itself while Claude’s wife Eliane. In the early 1990’s, The Fournier winery boasted more than 60 hectares. These were divided among the best terroirs (soils) of the three appellations of the Loire Valley wine region : Sancerre, Pouilly Fume and Menetou Salon. Between 2004 and 2008, the children of Claude and Eliane, Aude and Thibault, as children of Claude and Eliane, Aude and Thibault, as well as their spouses, Guillaume and Stephanie, join this family of vintners.
