Duck confit is a traditional French recipe where cooking and keeping duck in its rendered fat results in meltingly tender, moist, and extremely flavorful meat

Ingredients: Local Indonesian duck, duck fat, rosemary, bay leaf, salt and pepper

Instructions: *Cooking time and heat may vary depending on the equipment, this is a guideline only*

  • Defrost the frozen bag overnight in chiller or in lukewarm water for 2 hours.
  • Pre heat oven at 180 degrees Celsius, open the bag with scissor and place onto a baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes (for oven heating)
  • Open the bag with scissors and place it on a plate, re-heat for 3 minutes on high temperature (for microwave heating)
  • Pre heat the fry pan on medium heat,  open the bag with scissors and place the confit in it with the cooking oil, re-heat for 3minutes each sides. (for pan fry heating)
